The Secretary General of the Football Association, Muhammad Bin Hasam Al-Taheri, said in press reports after the meeting: “According to the text of Article 99 of the Law of the Football Association, the Council decided that the first vice-president, Abdullah Nasser Al-Junaibi, will be the president of the federation until the general assembly is called to elect a new board of directors. takes charge, and invitations to hold the General Assembly shall be sent to the clubs which are members of the Football Association, 60 days prior to the date of the General Assembly.

It is noteworthy that the first vice president is Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi and the second vice president is Hussain Al Sahlavi.

The general secretary of the Football Association pointed out that the current governing body does not have the right to extend the 90 days to hold a general assembly to elect a new governing body.
