At the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in Dubai, the activities of the Art Exhibition (Marawed) began, in which 38 creative and creative young Emirati and resident artists participated, 59 artworks were distributed in the corridors of the institution.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Sulaiman Musa Al Jassim, Board of Trustees Member Dr. Fatima Al Shaikh, Board of Trustees Member Najla Al Awar, Artist Dr. Najad Maki and others. (curator of the exhibition), artist Salem Al Junaibi, President of the Emirates Fine Arts Society and a large audience of Emirati artists and art enthusiasts besides a group of writers and intellectuals.
Visitors toured the corridors of the exhibition, which featured 16 inspiring sculptural works and 43 collection paintings, ranging from various schools, from classic to modern, to surreal visions, miniatures and aesthetic figures.
Art critic Dr. Noha Faran, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Tashkeel Magazine, gave a lecture on the works in the exhibition, in which he showed the aesthetics of the local context that emerged in many of the works.
Najad Makki thanked the Al Owais Cultural Foundation for organizing the youth event celebrating new faces in the world of plastic arts. Artist Salma Al-Mari also appreciated the beautiful experiences and encouraged her to follow the path of creativity, as did the sculptor Motassem. Al-Kubaisi admires sculptural experiences.
Dr. Fatima Al-Shaykh presented a certificate of appreciation to critic Noha Faran and a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Najad Maki, thanking her for her outstanding efforts in the exhibition and wishing her further success.
