The flowers of Samar trees are small compared to other trees because Samar trees are desert trees, with small leaves and flowers that help them adapt to the climate of arid regions without needing much water.

The tiny flowers spread a sweet aromatic scent throughout the area where the Sumar tree is located. Bees feed on the nectar of the Sumar flowers, from which high-quality spiral honey is produced.

This type of honey is considered to taste less sweet than other types of honey, and some claim that yellow honey has a lower sugar content compared to other types.
