The coach of the team has been shocked by the French Football Federation Paris Saint-GermainChristophe Galtier, hours before the capital club’s first clashes of the new season, when he was a guest of Clermont Foot.
According to “L’Equipe” newspaper on Friday, the French Football Federation did not approve the contract of coach Christophe Galtier, who signed with the Parisian club for two seasons last July, after he was sacked by Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino.
The French Football Federation’s technical committee met last July 28 and asked the 55-year-old coach to approach the relevant departments to review his obligations regarding UEFA’s professional coaching certificate.
He went on to say that the former Nice, Lille and Saint-Etienne coach had not renewed his coaching certificate, as regulations require every coach to renew it every three years, and Caltier had to write to the French Football Federation. Confirming its commitment to soon comply with the renewal of this certificate, this could be one of the next international stops.
Christophe Galtier led Paris Saint-Germain to the French Super Cup, beating Nantes with a penalty, before the team began a campaign to retain their title in “Ligue 1” which looked easy on paper.
