The entire neighborhood and metro stations are closed .. Millions return home from work!

Chinese authorities are asking millions of residents to return home from work after dozens of subway stations were closed after a national holiday due to restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Workers who were forced to go to the offices were asked to drive their own cars and avoid crowds.

According to the “AFP”, residents in another neighborhood in Beijing, Dongzhou, were encouraged by authorities to work in their homes, while dozens of subway stations across the city were closed.

The entire neighborhood in the capital Beijing has been closed due to a small number of infections.

Beijing announced yesterday that it is registering 50 local virus cases, while insisting that residents of Seong, the most populous district in Beijing with a population of 3.5 million, be forced to work from their homes.

Beijing is taking cautious action after a protracted lockout in China’s largest city, Shanghai, which has led to food shortages and public outrage.

Shanghai – the epicenter of the latest eruption – recorded more than 4,600 infections on Thursday, most of them asymptomatic.

The move came after an unusually quiet holiday on Labor Day.

Capital authorities have banned eating in restaurants and closed gyms.

It is noteworthy that Chinese authorities continue to adhere to the “zero govt” policy to control the spread of corona, which requires closure procedures and mass selections when fighting the biggest outbreak of the disease from its earliest days.
