Cardiola talks about Liverpool’s weaknesses before the decisive clash

Manchester City coach Pep Cardiola has admitted there are some weak points in Liverpool that could be used by his team.

League champions Manchester City host Liverpool on Sunday, according to British news agency PA Media.

City, although he has played more games than Liverpool, were top of the table by 14 points, but Liverpool, thanks to 10 consecutive wins, were able to close the gap to one point, and Cardiola’s strength is well known. Of his enemy.

Cardiola said: “There are always other games during the game when we face them, there are a lot of decisions, a lot of procedures, a lot of details for both teams.”

“I think both teams are good, but we’re trying to explore their weaknesses. They’re less, but we’re trying to find them.

At the same time playing at home and in the presence of fans, we have to play our way. Not only in the Premier League, we have already faced them many times, they were all very close and good matches.
Cardiola expects Manchester City to have some tough moments, but he feels the fans will play a big role in these moments.
Liverpool have not had any success in their last five visits to Etihad Stadium in the league, and Cardiola hopes the fans will help keep the pitch tough for the Liverpool players.
“We know we’re going to defend a part of the game and we’re going to back off – not because we wanted to, but because of the way they played it was almost impossible not to do that,” Cardiola said.
“I hope our fans will support us at the worst possible time,” he said. They need to be there and be tough on motivating us in the worst moments we are going to face.
“I hope the players will respond because I saw that they are ready to accept the challenge that Liverpool presents to us,” he explained.
Ruben Diaz, who left Manchester City last month due to a thigh injury, will miss the service. Kelly Walker will return to action after missing the first leg of his Champions League quarter-final win over Atletico Madrid last Tuesday.
