Study: Risk of blood clots and bleeding increased a few months after Govit-19 infection

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The risk of developing blood clots and bleeding has increased in the months following the outbreak of the “Kovit-19” infection, according to a new study released by BMJ Magazine on Wednesday.

Between February 2020 and May 2021, more than a million people in Sweden were first diagnosed with Covit-19, and after 70 days the rate of blood clots or bleeding in the “deep veins” increased significantly. Kovit. “-19”, and pulmonary embolism after 110 days and bleeding after 60 days. “

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) refers to tumors that often form in the deep veins of the legs. Pulmonary embolism can occur if these tumors go into the lungs and block blood flow.

Although these results have been recorded in a small area, less than 1% of people with Covit-19 are at risk for double bleeding and deep vein thrombosis. In the month following a viral infection, the risk of pulmonary embolism is about five times higher.

But people with other health conditions or those who become seriously ill during the first wave of infection are at higher risk.

At the end of the study period, the authors of the study suggested that the recent trend may be due to the introduction of improved “Govit-19” therapies and vaccines over time. However, vaccine data were not included in the study.

A separate study revealed detailed information on how freezing causes many problems in the body, including stroke, organ damage and pregnancy complications. Although it is not clear how the “Covit-19” virus is caused
Through freezing, scientists looked for factors such as the inflammatory immune response, and studied how “corrupt antibodies” could develop in response to infection, which would change in the host, according to the National Institutes of Health.
