The Expo 2020 Pavilion in Dubai hosted the “Breaking Prejudice” forum to mark International Women’s Day and celebrate the significant contribution of women to the community.
The forum, co-hosted by Cartier, highlighted the barriers to achieving gender equality, followed by an evening of spectacular concerts under the Dom of Al-Waslin that captivated audiences. Created by French composer Thomas Russell, it was followed by a dance performance, followed by a poem on women’s empowerment by Sudanese-American poet and activist Amy Mahmoud.
