Mubatala Investment Company agrees to invest $ 350 million in Princeton Digital Group; The data center company in Asia is headquartered in Singapore.
A report said yesterday that the deal was part of more than half a billion dollars in funding, with the “Warburg Pincus Corporation” and the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Fund (Ontario Teachers Fund) being “current partners” in Princeton Digital.
Khalid Abdullah Al Qubaisi, CEO of Mubatala Investments’ Real Estate and Infrastructure Investment, said: “As one of the most important sovereign funds in the world, we are pleased to be a major investor in Princeton Digital. We must support its growth.”
He pointed out that Princeton Digital is a leading data center infrastructure platform operating in an attractive market, catering to the growing demand from the large-scale computer industry and digital economies in Asia.
For his part, Rango Salkami, Co-Founder, President and CEO of Princeton Digital, said: “Mubadala has a proven track record of long-term investment and extensive experience in digital infrastructure, which makes it an excellent partner for us to continue to expand our business.
