The 58th Munich Security Conference kicked off with wide international participation in Munich, southern Germany.

In addition to 100 ministers and representatives of the business community, associations and international organizations, more than 30 heads of state and government will attend the conference.

The conference will be attended by German Chancellor Olaf Scholes, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, EU Commission President Ursula van der Leyen, US Vice President Kamala Harris, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zhelensky.

During the three days of the conference, several sessions and workshops will be held on global issues such as climate change, corona infection, cyber security and terrorism, and the many hot files on the progress made in the Ukraine crisis and Afghanistan. And Middle East issues.

During the first day’s work, there will be several sessions on various topics, most notably “Get Out of Deficit … Facing Global Challenges”, in which US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and German Secretary of State Annalina Birbach will deliver their speeches. Talks.

There will also be a session entitled “Surfing the Wave … Preventing the Next Infection”, which deals with how to prevent a corona-like infection in the future. The third session will be on “Strategic Intersections of Circles: Cooperation and Competition in the Field of Technology” and the fourth session will be on “Expanding the Purpose of Global Climate Action”.
