Cameroonian footballer Roger Milla has hit out at Egypt and Morocco-led North African nations for backing FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s plan to postpone the current African Cup of Nations.
Mila believes Morocco and Egypt have backed the international football association “FIFA” due to delays by African nations in hosting the Champions League, which starts in Cameroon on Sunday. The facilities for the competition, and the preparation for organizing the competition, in addition to the “Omicron” mutation are spreading fast.
In a statement to the French channel “TV Monte5”, Mila said: “The supporters of the FIFA program are the nations of North Africa because they always spoil things! They always cause chaos.”
“Sorry, Morocco or Egypt or whatever, I say to them here as a brother. This is not normal. If they are not Africans, let them leave the continent and play in Europe or Asia. Do not cause chaos on the African continent.”

“They have always grown up on the African continent. We accepted them, they were successful, so today they have no reason to speak ill of other countries in Africa, this is not normal,” Mila added.
Cameroon initially won the right to host the 2019 African Nations Cup, but the match moved to Egypt because the Central African nation was not ready to host it in time, after which it was decided to host Cameron. The 2021 edition, which has been postponed for 12 months due to a corona virus infection, will take place from January 9 to February 6, before it is officially decided.
