Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Mastar) has released its annual sustainability report for 2022, which highlights its most significant achievements in sustainability, environmental and social practices and corporate governance. Clean energy sector, and its contributions in reducing carbon dioxide emissions within two years and it is steadily moving towards achieving its goals and ambitions to become one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies by 2030.
The report highlights the significant roles women play in the company as it reveals that approximately 25% of the women employed at Mastar hold supervisory positions. As for the “Sustainability for Youth” platform, it aims to reach one million young men and women by 2030.
Apart from emitting 10 million tons of carbon dioxide, the company said that its production capacity in the clean energy sector by 2022 was 20 GW while generating 18 thousand GW hours.
